As a newcomer to the AoE2 community, I have been playing more frequently to improve my skills.
Recently, I was in the midst of a 1v1 game with a friendly opponent and was on track to winning when a sudden power outage interrupted my progress.
I am curious about what would happen in such a situation.
Any insights are appreciated.
from the aoe2 server’s perspective it looks like you pressed alt+f4, so it treats it as a loss for you, so you will lose some elo etc.
if it was within the first 5 (?) minutes of the game it will also give you a penalty for map dodging
