His videos are amazing, he truly knows how to teach to noobs like me, he’s fun, he has a great play (easily in the top 3 of AOE2), and plus he’s living in Argentina now 11.

Haters always gonna hate
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13454Andromeda_M89GuestMan I missed him when he was playing League and was so happy that he came back to AoE!
I really like his style and we need someone to beat Viper!
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13455lordrubbishGuestDon’t know anything about what happened at the tourney but Hera taught me a lot in age 2, he and players like him positively bring players to the game, so yeah meaningful losses are rough but he’s like a pillar to the community and whatnot.
Taking a loss well is part of being champion, which regardless of the outcome Hera already is.
Plenty of game and $ left to be made too.
He’ll be fine!
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13456nikinikiforGuesti loved his playstyle past few months, what a beast
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13457ObaeTVGuestAre there betting in AoE2 pro games?
I know in CSGO there’s A LOT of salty people after every game because they lost a bet.
It could explain some of the people.
Either way, not sure why you would hate him.
Even if you’re not a fan of his you can appreciate how well he plays and his coaching streams.
Although it is annoying when he beats Tatoh 11
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13469Laure95GuestBro “Never resign when you have hussar” is an amazing quote lmao, i’ll implement it.
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13459Default_Username2774GuestI was watching the finals with my dad this weekend, who hasn’t followed the pro scene but was one of the devs for AoE1 and has some interest.
I told him TheViper is Tom Brady (undisputed GOAT) and Hera is Patrick Mahomes (young usurper).
When Hera first started beating Viper I wasn’t a huge fan of his off-the-field behavior but he’s matured a lot and become a great steward of the #1 player spot.
It’s been a really awesome journey to follow along with.
Let’s also not discount he turned down a gajillion dollars from Facebook in favor of keeping his community together…
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13460halfajackGuestProbably worth putting a spoiler warning here for people who haven’t seen TTL finals
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13461LohabquasGuestIt’s really sad to see pro players/entertainers getting hate, and it’s even more sad that there are some people who think that this “divine” aoe2 community where everyone sings and dances in the flowers doesn’t have any toxic people in it, this is internet after all.
With that being said I really hope things get better, I don’t think anyone deserves the hate, pro players are trying their best to both win and entertain us
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13462mad-mattyGuestI saw this post on his Twitter and directly in the replies some people were throwing dumb shit at him, the internet can be such a weird place, Twitter especially.
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13463Mathantastic123Guestpeople love to diss on whoever looses, when viper first started loosing tournaments, people hated on him, saying that he was gone, that he should quit, even though he was still getting good results, just not winning.
Just remember that these people are a loud minority and they don’t represent the avarage viewer, and while I agree with hera that u can’t just ignore the haters, u need to learn to not ignore the non haters, cause its really easy to just listen to the haters and ignore the nice people and then go around thinking that everyone hates you
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13464VixarkGuestHe is an amazing, passionate and hard working player and as a youtuber/streamer he is escencial part of the community, his content is huge and highly educative.
Besides, he was nice to allow me use his build orders in my build order reader app.
The hate and hypercritical comments in internet are usually too much.
I understand him, it’s ok to feel bad when you have done so much and get that in return.
Hera, if you are reading this, get away from all this for a couple of days.
Enjoy other things and distract your mind.
Later on, you’ll feel better.
Wish you the best!
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13465leapingsalmon1GuestHera’s tutorials on Civs and Road to 2k have been instrumental for me to learn how to play this game online.
He’s a contributor to this community in more ways than just playing at the top level.
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13466Traditional-Brick917GuestHere Vs Viper is the AOE equivalent of El Classico.
Both absolute beasts at the game and the quality of the series never disappoints.
February 18, 2023 at 1:55 am #13467Drown_The_GodsGuestHera really tries, and really cares, and he’s really good at what he does.
He provides great educational content.
If ever i’m stuck in mid game, I think ‘what would Hera do?’ and check how many stables I have.
The game wouldn’t be the same without him.
