Can the 9x Mod Still Be Used?

I recently acquired the Data Mod 9x Tech mod created by Trinh, which has been downloaded 44k times since 2019. However, when I attempted to use it, it did not work due to the addition of more civilizations since the mod was created. Is there a newer 9x Mod available, or is the existing one still usable?
Not sure.
But 9x or at least 3x text mod is another that should be a standard option in the game.
There is a cheat code now that lets you research techs more than once
