    For each of these techs/units you can must them away from one civ and give them to another, this has to maintain or even improve balance.

    1.

    Redemption
    2.

    Bombard Cannon
    3.

    Arbalest
    4.

    Thumb Ring
    5.

    Siege Ram
    6. (Hard Mode) Paladin
    7. (Hard Mode) Bracer

    Feel free to chuck in any other suggestions as well.

    Bracer: Sicilians -> Celts

    Siege Ram: Sicilians -> Lithuanians

    Cavalier: Sicilians -> Saracens

    Champion: Sicilians -> Ethiopians

    Blast Furnace: Sicilians -> Koreans

    Husbandry: Sicilians -> Vikings

    Redemption: Incas -> Dravidians

    will add a weakness to the very strong Incas, will give Dravidians a tool to fight Knight-Siege without tons of food

    Bombard Cannon: Poles -> Bengalis

    makes Poles very strong early Imperial Age a bit easier to handle, gives Bengalis an option against Skirms

    Arbalest: Malians -> Celts

    Both without Bracer, Celts without TR too, so a small, not too meaningful nerf for Malians (who can fight ranged units with Cav or Champkarls anyway) and one Castle Age unit for Celts that at least scales a little bit into Imp

    Thumb Ring: Portuguese -> Bengalis

    Portuguese have cheap Arbs anyway, don’t need to be good then.

    Bengalis get at least one regular FU gold unit.

    Siege Ram
    : Chinese -> Japanese

    Chinese have enough options, they don’t need SR-Halb.

    Japanese could actually use their Infantry now.

    (Hard Mode) Paladin: Lithuanians -> Goths

    Lith have stronger Cav and they should be forced a bit more into Leitis, also great Skirms against ranged units, everytime when they get to Paladin it feels ridiculous.

    Goths could use them to fill their civ-weaknesses to some degree.

    Many Goth-killer-units (such as Cataphracts or HC) die to Paladin.

    Still difficult to tech into which would make it a rare but spicy alternative.

    (Hard Mode) Bracer: Bohemians -> Teutons

    Makes it a little bit tougher for Bohemians to get into Houfnice-Halb, makes them vulnerable to Skirms and at least a little bit to Champs, without making them even worse in early game.

    Teutons have some of the hardest civ-losses because they lack it.

    I’ll try, this is a fun game

    1.

    Redemption Berbers (No Sanctity) -> Tatars (also no Sanctity but no discount on units)
    2.

    BBC Poles (agree overall with you guys) -> Chinese (need a buff, no Siege Engineers)
    3.

    Arbalest Malians (won’t miss them) -> Burmese (lack many upgrades but useful for them)
    4.

    Thumb Ring Gurjaras -> Slavs (fun?

    they have HCA but no Bracer)
    5.

    Siege Ram Tatars (No infantry backup) -> Berbers
    6.

    Paladin Byzantines (obviously) -> Malay
    7.

    Bracer Burgundians -> Celts (agree with Reach)
