More fun and imaginative games, like 10x shared, Forest nothing, Socotra clusterfuck, tiny maps etc.
Games with scenarios like gladiator, Olympics and so on that are in every Age game,.
Games involving AI players which is my favourite way to play the game
It could probably get boring after a while but I’d like to see a bit of cba or cb front towers.
I’d love a series, with one video per “concept” where a concept might be:
* feudal agression
* map control
* unit compositions
and in a single video it has lots of discussion around that concept.
Lets take feudal aggression as an example, the video might cover:
* common strats
* when aggression is and isn’t appropriate
* over-committing
* clips from games that demonstrate these concepts
There’s a lot of instructional videos out there, with high level players going through their thought process, but to me they tend to cover multiple concepts, and I’d love to see a single concept covered in depth!
Games without commentary would be very boring.
There are plenty of people who put out aoe2 content without putting much effort in it, and they hardly get any views.
AoE2 is a game with a tiny audience and I’d say that youtube is mostly oversaturated already.
There isn’t much of good aoe2 meme content on YouTube, so that may be a very narrow niche that you may explore.
It still has very limited growth potential, unfortunately.
Deep analysis of, not games, but small moments.
How this one fight affected the whole game.How not finding this stone pile pushed a player into a stratagy….
I like the T90 tiny map series, but I’d be interested to see what a best of 5 or something with towers banned would be like.
I’d also like to see a pro game like hera vs viper confined to feudal age, just to see how the dynamic would change, would a cuman siege push be the only viable strat?
T90‘s coverage of Low Elo content on YouTube is… not great.
I think he only publishes a fraction of the low elo matches he shows on his Facebook stream.
And mid elo?
Practically not existing on YouTube.
But to be honest, there is barely any point for you to cover it if you don’t talk.
A “Plays of the Week” style recap of tournaments or even recent ranked games.
I dont ever have time to watch any sort of BO7 set but would love to catch up on highlights.
