I’m returning to Age of Empires on Xbox and I’m looking for YouTubers to watch for both educational and entertainment purposes.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Hera has a very nice guide that will introduce you gradually to increasingly sophisticated concepts
TheViper, T90, Survivalist, MembTV for casting, Spirit of the Law
Check out HamRTime on twitch.
He’s a top 100 player (~roughyl 2k1-2k2).
He seems to be the only high level player streaming xbox controller gameplay (currently 7th in controller rankings)
T90 is good for entertainment, but to learn Hera makes really, REALLY good guides, just check one of his last videos or in his playlist there is a elo guide, where he teach you the game from the basics to the most advanced tactics
Slam uploads super regularly at the moment and it’s some of the most chill, most enjoyable aoe2 games you’ll see anywhere.

Also, u/PoopLord69722 has a YouTube channel, just called Poop Lord, for silly strategies and stuff.
Nobody mentioned T90 Low Elo Legends series yet.
I think it is perfect for entertainment and also education, as there you can see mistakes/strange strategies that new players do, with T90 explaining how to do things the right way.
There is usually a long cast of live games streamed on Facebook once a ~week, and then most entertaining games get posted on his Youtube channel.
