My friends and I are having a hard time competing against the toughest AI.
We can usually beat two opponents in the Feudal Age with archers, but if the third player goes Imperial, we usually get wiped out 1v3.
I’m not skilled enough to determine what we are doing wrong, but I have noticed that our booming is inadequate when we are losing.
We usually have fewer villagers than the enemy’s pocket.
Is there any advice on how to improve?
We are familiar with the standard build orders, but they don’t seem to be effective past the Feudal Age or Fast Castle.
We could probably win if each of us took out one player, but that would be too cheesy.
produce vils everytime and dont stop until 120, learn basic hotkeys and maximize efficiency.
Post imp AI is easy, the key is having a good eco behind and spam units.
What the other guy said.
Never stop making villagers.
You need about 6 farms per town center, so when you hit castle age you want to make 2 extra TC’s and have about 18 farms just so you can keep making vallagers until you hit about 120-130.
Also, if you aren’t currently, get the blacksmith upgrades for the units you’re making
In addition to what the two others said – feel free to post a replay so we can maybe spot some mistakes you haven’t thought about 🙂
