Xbox Leaderboards for Gamepads

I observed that there is a leaderboard specifically for gamepad users on the ranked leaderboards, however, I have not been able to figure out how to disable mouse and keyboard matching. Has anyone else discovered a way to do this?
It’s automatically off if you are playing with a controller. In the ranked or quick play menu , at the bottom right is the option to turn it on , to match against k&m.
