Xbox Issue Prevents Upgrading Troops Despite Having Resources

I have the tools needed to upgrade troops on barracks, stables, etc.
but it’s not working at all.
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s a bug, and it’s really throwing me off in the game.
Other than this issue, I’m really enjoying the game.
If it’s greyed out it’s because you didn’t age up yet.
Most of the good upgrades are available in the castle and imperial (3rd and 4th ages).
You might need to be in the next age to upgrade.
