? What Should I Do When an Enemy Spams Castles?

I’ve been playing some regular games, and I encountered an opponent who only builds castles in his base.
I can’t do anything to penetrate it, as he just defends and does nothing else.
How can I break through?
Lots of siege weapons
You make trebs and units to protect the trebs.
You wall your base so they don’t counterattack
Trebuchets, bombard cannons, maybe even siege ram spam.
Or harass the enemy, it takes 650 stone per castle for most civs which is rather expensive and time consuming.
Franks and Slavs have it easier but still.
Also you don’t always need to destroy castles, you can send units like hussars to go around and kill workers.
Attack from 300 metres away
I like like to send rams filled with halbs.
If the enemy sends horses to counter they are in for a surprise!
If theyre throwing up castles, just boom, your eco is already miles ahead, so you should be imp early with trebs/ seige ram/bbc, whicj ever you prefer
DESTROY ALL HIS CASTLES!
THAT WILL TEACH HIM!
