What Is the Function of the Xbox Controller?

I don’t possess an Xbox yet, however I’m interested in obtaining one so I can play it on my television with a controller.
I’m curious as to how the game works with a controller since I’ve never seen an RTS game on consoles before.

It works very well especially for casual play.
It’s hard to micro troops however and the placement snap (for me) is way to damn aggressive.
All in all tho a great port and I don’t feel overwhelmed by the control scheme.
Ranked play will be interesting to see in the future.
