Unable to Choose Civilization for Xbox

When I try to choose a civilization on my Xbox Series S, it takes me to the store and then displays an “Oops” message.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Are you selecting a DLC civ?
Found out the problem, i did not have gamepass but my wife’s account has on her account i can choose a civ.
Wait so you had to sign-up for gamepass to ultimately allow you to choose a civilization?
I purchased the game and am running into the same situation and am finding that nothing is working since even the highlighted civilizations are still prompting me to purchase it despite having the deluxe edition…
