Dear all,
Playing games with my friends is something I enjoy, and we’re currently organizing a mini competition.
However, it comes with some unique regulations such as playing regicide, having 30 minutes of peace where only the middle resources are fought for, playing on Arabia or Black forest maps, and having a 3 vs 3 set-up.
In terms of strategy, I am able to gather 120 villagers, 80 army, and a significant amount of resources within the stipulated 30 minutes.
Given this situation, I am seeking advice on which civilization selection would be ideal.
Best regards,
For BF I’d recommend bohemians halb + houfince.
For Arabia I’d say Mongols mangudai hussar ram. 30 mins of peace serves these civs so well as both have top notch late game.
Khmer, just spam Ballista and Battle Elephants.
You can have a very good eco and strong composition of halbs + siege onagers (or paladins) with teutons on a game like this.
Spanish is another great option for team games for the bonus gold.
On BF, Korean Siege Onager + halb is fun.
Arabia 30 mins treaty… looks like goths are back on the menu boys!
Maybe to clarify a bit: it’s not 30 min in game treaty but actual 30 minutes which is way more.
And on top of that it’s an older version of the game since we are on LAN.
It’s some cracked/modded version.
So there are some of the newer civs but I can’t really say what they are balanced like xD.
It is based on the original though, since it’s not the HD version.
So best bet is to take the balancing of the original game.
Thanks for the tips btw.
I wanted to play byzantines, whats your take on that?

Edit: i think its the forgotten empires version.
