My friend and I just experienced our first Xbox game last night and it was totally new to us. I remember playing the Age of Empires game on Miniclip when I was younger, so it was really exciting. I’m feeling overwhelmed with all the information I’m taking in. Are there any suggestions or advice on what I should focus on? I’m thinking that it’s wise to begin with the Franks, but that’s all I know for now.
If you’re *completely* new, I’d recommend play the William Wallace campaign. It’s an extended tutorial that teaches you basic controls and mechanics.
Once you’ve a bit more comfortable, you can try the art of war – it teaches the basics you will need for online play
Overall though it’s just an amazing game so don’t sweat it and have fun 😊
– Always let your Town Center work and aim for 100-120 villagers
– Know the basic counters (play the “Land Battle” scenario for that)
– If you use Keyboard+Mouse – use hotkeys
– Know a basic build order
