My name is Swanand and I am conducting research on e-sports and sustainable development for my thesis. Aoe2 is a popular game in the e-sports industry and I would appreciate it if players, streamers, pros, and even T90 could fill out a form to aid in my data collection.

This information will be used for my thesis and could help make the game more immersive in social, economical, and environmental aspects. If you believe in my cause, please share the form with your friends who play online games.

It feels like the survey is missing some important stuff for posting it on the AoE Reddit. Things I find a bit strange:

1. You have two options for country. India, and other. Why not just have other?
2. I think the options for what type of gamer you are are quite limiting. Nothing about single player only, it should be casual multiplayer, and it’s missing someone who plays competitive multiplayer/tryhard MP but isn’t at pro level.
3. Why does Puzzle Games have things like Sudoku, but not some of the really iconic puzzle games like Portal or Baba is You?
4. Where does AoE2 fit on the list of game types? RTS is an important missing genre. No open world genre either, although you could in theory class that under action/adventure.
