Anonymous PlayerMemberElephants are typically solitary creatures, as there are usually no berries or other resources nearby to attract them. In contrast to maps with boars that can be drawn out, hunting elephants may be an option, but one must consider whether or not it is worthwhile, and if building a mill beside one is necessary.

RoundInvestment5926GuestIt’s illegal to hunt elephants. Ivory trade is forbidden. The militia is on their way to your house!

Parrotparser7GuestElephants are just boars. Hunt them all the same.

hidadimhungruGuestThey are an endangered species. They should not be hunted, but rather protected until you reach the Aerospace Age and can research Tourism

TheConqueror753GuestThey are boars, but more dangerous, and with more food. Lure them the same way. Same goes for Rhinos.

anotherspookygh0stGuestYou probably wanna lure them to your TC and inflict most of the damage with that, then ungarrison the vills and kill so you can harvest the meat. I see high elo players do it all the time even with boars, it’ll take some practice, but definitely a skill worth developing

Apocalypso-YouTubeGuestElephants are just boars but with more HP and more DPS. They also have more food, so they’re essential to hunt.

TheGamyGuestI mean you could do that but it’s kind of a boaring approach tbh

rbnbadriGuestElephants have very high HP.
You need to lure them near to your TC and then garrison the luring vil to de-aggro them. Lure both of them next to the TC.
The garrisoned vils will take some time to heal. In this time, the two Elephants will mate and produce a bunch of calfs, each with around 100 HP and 100 food. You can take them easily because they don’t fight back.
Of course, in some cases, because of RNG, the big Eles will try to go back. In that case, take a sheep vil and attack them again to make them come back. This way, the Eles will keep making calfs and providing unlimited food.
Hardly anyone tries this because of the time it takes for the calves to come.

Mathantastic123Guestelephants are pretty much just like boars, There are some differences, but u can think of elephants and rinos as just reskinned boars, u can lure and kill them in the same way u do boars.
Also zebras and ibexes are just reskinned deer, crocodiles are just reskinned wolves, and cows, llamas and turkeys are just reskinned sheep (though cows have a bit more food, and llamas have a bit more line of sight)
