Question about the Xbox Garrison

Is there a way to station my archers inside the archery range when creating them? I’ve observed the AI doing this, and I’d like to do it myself so that I can unleash them in unison. Despite attempting to press A or X with Advanced Controls on an Xbox controller, it doesn’t appear to function.
Left trigger and X, can also use that for carts to automatically go to your teams markets.
