Hello everyone,
I’m really enjoying playing this game on my console. However, I have a concern about whether the game will be removed from the game pass. I know that Microsoft keeps updating their catalog, but since this game is owned by Microsoft, do you think it will eventually be removed from the game pass?
At the moment, it’s more affordable to purchase this game through the game pass, but if it were to be removed, it could end up costing more.
Should never be removed as it’s a first party game. Even if it is you can buy it for a discount before it leaves the catalog.
I guess there is a chance but games as popular as aoe2 wouldn’t be taken off game pass until years have passed since it’s introduction
I would get it on Steam. A) You’ll never run this risk. B) Mods are much better supported and easier to use. And C) CaptureAge doesn’t work on the non Steam version, which you need if you want to watch recorded games properly.
It’s pretty cheap anyways. I think I paid $25 which included the DLC’s for the additional civs.
