Play art of war until you are happy.
I’d recommend making sure you’re at least silver for all challenges before hopping online into ranked mming, but you should be hitting bronze at the very least.
If you can’t hit bronze, expect to lose all your placement matches and then you should even out at 50/50.
If you can hit silver for all, you’re at least 1k elo, so you won’t lose too many placement matches.
You might so badly, you might be better than you think after familiarizing yourself with the game again.
At the end of the day you should just play, because it’s a fun game.
One thing to note is starting elo went from 1600 in hd to 1000 in de.
And on top of that skill has gone up a ton in the whole community since the release of DE.
So with that in mind I’d guess your placement would be between 900-1200 depending on how long it has been since you have played.
Just gonna say, welcome back.
Game is in fantastic state and the community is superb as well.
The rust might weigh you down for a bit, but anyone with a familiarity with the game has a huge leg up over newbies.
I’d assume you’ll start around 1100-1400 if you pick up some meta build orders and then find your true ELO from there.
No matter how it goes tho, you’re going to love it, join us!
(though fair warning, there are lots of bugs right now due to the xbox release, the game should stabilize in the next month or so tho)
