I am really enjoying the game so far, is it worth it to purchase the downloadable content?

    Do you want more civs?

    More single player campaigns?

The quality is definitely good, but if you haven’t finished all the base single player content and don’t play all of the base civs, there’s not much point in getting it.

PSA: Some scenarios in the Dynasties of India and Dawn of the Dukes campaigns are currently bugged, lowering your units’ damage to only 1 or 2 instead of increasing them.

It’s a new bug that came with the Console release and should be fixed in the upcoming patch.

I’m not telling you not to buy them, just making sure you don’t freak out when your units get nerfed instead of a buff.

    It’s only temporary.

We get strange bugs every couple months.

    Sort of a tradition.

If it’s just campaigns you’re interested in, I’d say Dawn of the Dukes sits above the other 2.

Lords of the West and Dynasties of India weren’t ones I thought were as fun to play.

If you want access to more civs to play around on multiplayer with, then just go for whichever ones look interesting to you.

Personally, I find the current versions of Burgundians and Sicilians a bit boring, and likewise with the new Indian civs.

The 2 DotD civs are a bit more fun, though.

    Depends.

There are already so many Civs and campaigns that I would find it difficult to justify unless you already played A LOT.

If you played all the campaigns then sure.

Also dont buy them at full price, they go down 60% quite often.

If you type a space after the last word in your sentence, the DLC probably isn’t for you .
