I wanted to know if the money you earn from trading at markets is based on the straight-line distance between the two markets, or the distance along the trade carts’ route.
Crows fly
“Crowd fly”.
I believe it is coded as tile to tile distance.
You can make a zig-zag route with walls and will still give you only so much gold.
The amount of money you make per trip is proportional to the squared distance as the crow flies.
