I am planning to purchase the African Kingdoms DLC which contains new technology such as arson and siege towers.
If I play with my friends in multiplayer who don’t have this DLC, will I still be able to use the arson and siege towers?
If u host a DLC lobby on HD, anyone without dlc can join but they can pick only a limited number of civs.
If they have at least one other dlc (doesnt have to be the one u have) they can pick all 18 original civs + 1 civ each from the dlc they dont have.

Definitely get the dlcs they bring in a lot of content
