Has Anyone Else Experienced Issues With Console AOE?

It appears that it is not possible to customize the hotkeys on the console, as attempts to remap them have been unsuccessful and have not been registered.
I only tried the console port on launch day but when I changed hotkeys with m+kb it worked fine
