Does the Enemy Receive a Notification When I Investigate Spies?

When I was younger, I recall playing a real-time strategy game in which a message would appear warning that spies had infiltrated my base.
I can’t remember if it was Age of Empires II or some other game, but the message was a reminder to be vigilant against the possibility of espionage.
Spies have infiltrated your nation…
something similar to that text.
Enemies receive the message.
If you research spies while a player is allied, but then later set them to enemy, they’ll never see the message (and Spies isn’t shared with allied vision).
Not only the message “Spies has infiltrated your nation”, but it also play an unique sound.
You can test by watching the replay as your opponent
