Do People Still Play Custom Multiplayer Maps?

I recall fondly the days when I used to play MSN Gaming Zone, where I would explore virtual worlds like Starship Troopers, Castle Blood Auto, Hitman Gold, and Monk Races.
Are these games still being played?
Since then, I have mainly preferred to play offline and have not been too concerned with my Elo rating.
CBA is still being played.
The rest are rarely seen afaik.
