Do Any Other Australians Recall Receiving Age of Empires in a Cereal Box During the Mid 2000’s?

    I recall being astonished that such an amazing game had originated from a cereal box.

    It was one of the first games I ever played when I was 6-7 years old and I was completely hooked.

    Although playing ranked Age of Empires 2 is a totally different experience now, it’s still hilarious!

    I remember the same in Belgium.

    There were some sweet games in those cereal boxes.

    I also remember Rollercoaster Tycoon being in there.

    In a gorilla themed chocolate yoghurt snack, I got the demo disc.

    The only skirmish available was against an AI that tried to perform the same actions every game.

    So if you ran over and stood where their lumbar camp was supposed to go it would upset it.

    I bet the AI with every conceivable army, from Frankish paladin to only waves of villagers.

    Buying the game a must

    At these years past, actually found my old copy a few years back scratched beyond use from all the fun I had.

    Miss the days when there was actually interesting things given away free i cereal boxes.
