Berbers Versus Gujaratis?

Although I’m not very skilled at the game (ranked 1100), I recently played against someone who was using the Gujaras civilization. Despite putting more pressure on them in the earlier stages of the game and advancing to the castle age before them, my opponent switched to using camels and chakrams which I struggled to defend against and ultimately lost. Since I don’t have access to halberdiers, arbalests or siege onagers, I was wondering what strategies and unit compositions would be recommended for the late game in this matchup.
Since when is 1100 pretty bad?
Knight/ Camels in Castle.
Gurjara camels only do 1 more damage than yours. You can wear them down with numbers.
I’d guess camel archers + your own camels would be a decent comp. Chakrams are pretty weak, so a couple of well time mango shots can completely wreck his chakram mass.
You are asking the wrong question. Not what is the late game option to match opponent army, but when is my window to win game. Berbers need to win with strong early castle push, before gurjaras can get to imp.
You should go pikemen + mangonels. That will kill anything the Gurjaras can throw at you until they have a castle.
camel archer + pike
Depending on the map Berbers can be favored in this matchup, but they need to apply lots of Castle Age pressure.
The Berber player can use their cheaper Camels to overwhelm the Camel numbers of the Gurjara player.Late game it gets more difficult, as once the Gurjara player gets Frontier Guards their Camels win much better vs other Camels.

There is no answer, wait for the civ to be nerfed.
Even bbc could work, or I suspect some meatshield (hussar maybe?) + hc could also work since both camels and chakrams should get shredded by HC.
CAs are doing pretty well when I play against Gurjaras. Yes, they are nasty but I jusy protect my CAs and try to boom. Gurjaras cant prrssure you without using siege.
