After asking if there were any older players in the AOE2 community, the OP received a response that inspired them to create a clan called “Old People Wars” or OPW. Despite the abundance of players, older individuals may not be as quick and could struggle with understanding and communicating in English. Therefore, the OP hopes to create a sense of understanding and connection within the community. They are looking for someone to set up a Discord server for the clan, as the in-game clan page doesn’t offer messaging services or chat options. The OP is excited to find like-minded people and hopes to set up an AOE2DE community where players can not only play the game but also entertain each other.
Most people playing the game are in their late 20s to late 40s.
I wonder what the APMs of older players are. My APM is around 15 and I’m early 30s.
I just remembered from when i was a lil kid that there’s cars in the game
Uhm so what is the minimum age requirement?
I am almost 40 and have been playing AOE2 for more than 20 years off and on but only played vs AI. I got back into it 6-7 years ago but it wasn’t until somewhat recently that I found out how popular the game still was.
