Any amount of OP to be dug from the disappointment mines that is the monastery is done through a massive commitment to learning how to baby, micro, and utilize those corny old geezers to their maximum.
Even among pro players truly impressive monk play is rare.
The amount of execution, practice, and luck required not to mention the hundreds of gold spent.
No way would I call monks OP.
After watching Survivalist’s vids, yes they are 11
Honorable mention to Missionaries (aka Donks): they don’t pick relics, but they pick units from opposing army
Monks are insanely op if they’re micro’d properly.
Micro-ing them is probably the single hardest thing in the game though.
