Advice for the Most Effective Late-Imperial Unique Unit Against AI

My buddies and I have a ton of fun playing against the AI in a unique way.
We set a time limit of 30 minutes and build a wall around our base to protect ourselves from enemy attack.
We then slowly build up our economy and military until we reach the Imperial Age.
We have plenty of resources to mass produce any type of unit by then.
What civilization do you think is the most effective for this kind of strategy?
Mangudai with drill siege onager can be stupidly powerful when fully upgraded and massed
Resources not a factor?
Persians.
The main limiting factors for Persians are being gold hungry (hello team trade) and people trying to end the game before Imperial (or Castle).
Mandugai are brilliant.
Destroying all their seige, infantry etc.
AI can’t counter them in huge numbers 🤣🤣
Elite longbowman and Plumed archer are close runner ups.
I do find ranged UU are my favourite
Kamayuk are cool and underrated.
Byzantine Cataphracts with trample damage are a pain to deal with, only ranged units work.
Khmer double bolt scorpions and elephants are hard to counter.
And always, my personal favorite Goths, with a never ending mass of infantry, once you have 15 barracks and unlimited resources.
I’d go with Bohemian houfnice protected by hand cannoneers and halberds.
AI can’t spam units if you destroy their buildings and nothing does that faster than Bohemian upgraded bombard cannons.
Turk bombard cannons and bombard towers make for a fun slow push with their unique tech that gives extra range and dont forget to research seige engineers at the university to make those cannons even stronger!
